The Reality

The reality is often cruel.
You don't feel it when you are under the spotlight, but when you are under pressure, you will come to realise.

No one come to realise how much effort you have put in to achieve a goal.
What they see is if you have achieved the goal. A question of yes/no.

Effort here can be good or bad.
Good effort in really carrying out your responsibilities.
Bad effort in looking for others to help you with your task.

But people never care how you attain the goal.
Looking for people for help is actually included in the effort you put in.
Because people might say then why don't others look for help from others as well? Because they never put in effort.
By saying that, I know they don't realise looking for help is actually a choice, not a solution to a problem.

Some people choose to struggle and grow. But who cares how much you grow? Unless you are a plant.
You might think it's okay because I know.
But yourself knowing you are good is not enough.
They say no man is an island. So showing off sometimes is necessary, I learnt.

I don't really want to face the reality but I can't because of how the society works and how I need to fit in.
And now I am slowly blending into a crowd of people whom I dislike and this is definitely not easy.
